Essence: “We would like to acknowledge the service of each and every member of this tour. Every body’s service was essential on this tour. Not only were you working very hard, not only were you working very sincerely and very effectively, I think the outstanding feature was that every one was serving in a loving spirit together and that loving mood created “vaikunta atmosphere” at our festivals.”

“People felt so comfortable back in the spiritual world; therefore they felt so free to dance, they felt so free to sing, they felt so free to express spiritual emotions even in public. And that is something miraculous. I wanted to take this opportunity, a very deep moment, to thank every one of you very much for the wonderful service you have done for Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya.”

“Srila Prabhupada being the personality he is, intimate associate of the Lord, is capable of bestowing upon you unlimited blessings.”

Essence of Spiritual Culture

Essence: “We are westeners and we adopted eastern Spiritual Culture. When asked why is that?, devotees reply – this philosophy answers every question one may have about Spiritual Life. It answers most important questions in life. Another reason is that the way of life is very conducive to understand the Absolute Truth. Way of life is – Simple living and High thinking. Central to this Spiritual process is Kirtan. Kirtan means Glorification of God by singing God’s names. In the Scriptures it is said that in this age, easy and most sublime means to awaken our original Love for God is by chanting Holy Names…This is the essence of Spiritual Culture of India.”

Essence: “Though we may differ on various things, we all agree that we have one thing in common, we all are trying to find happiness. We foolishly try to find our hapinness in material things. Material things can’t give us any lasting happiness, they are here today and they are gone tomorrow. Actually what we are hankering for, is the happiness we experience in association with Lord. God is very merciful, he is present in his Name. When we say Hare Krsna we are actually associating with the Lord…We have seen that people from all over the world who chant this song become immediately happy.”

We have our routine devotional service and these Golden moments. We have to take advantage of them..These are historic moments.Vaishnavas coming together is very auspiscious. And they preaching together is extremely auspiscious…This is my favorite type of festival…We all coming together to preach, this is something unique, very very special…This is all nectar because it is all to fulfill desire of Lord Caitanya and Srila Prabhupada to deliver these young students.”

Qualifications Of A Disciple – WoodStock 2007

Verse: Srimad Bhagavatham – 7.8.1
Where: Jul 29′th 2007, Kostryn, Poland.
Ocassion: Wood Stock Festival, 2007
Courtesy: Candrasekhar Acarya Das.
Essence:“We often hear glories of Pure devotees. It is important to also learn about qualification of a good disciple of such Master. Prahlad Maharaj gives us a hint regarding this in Brahmacari guru-kule verse (SB 7.12.1). A disciple after entering into guru-kula or Krishna Consciousness should practice control of his senses…either by restricting them from sense enjoyment or better yet by engaging them in Krishna’s service. The second duty is to practice being very submissive…you have to be submissive else cannot get full mercy of the Spiritual Master. And finally disciple should develop friendship or goodwill towards the Spriritual Master. Prahlad Maharaj sets a best example of how to reciprocate with mercy of Spiritual Master by starting to preach at the age of 5 years. Following in the footsteps of Prahlad Maharaj, let us try to preach to 350,000 young people at Wood Stock this year.”

Courtesy: Candrasekhar Acarya Das.
Essence: “Real key to happiness you see in their (devotees) faces is not the discipline they are following, but the inner joy they are experiencing by chanting names of God – Hare Krsna Hare Krsna…Krsna is very blissful and when you associate with him through his name, you will also become blissful. You can also chant and experience the joy that comes from it. This is universal song of peace and happiness.”

Ultimate Goal of Life – Festival Lecture

Where: Jul 22′nd 2007, Polish Festival, Rewal.
Courtesy: Candrasekhar Acarya Das.
Essence: “We are not the body, but spirit, living spark within this body. We really are somebody, part of God’s family and he loves us. He reciprocates equally with all living entities. But if we leave Spiritual World and are lost in this material world, we are nobody. If we want to be happy we have to go back to Spiritual World…That should be our ultimate goal of life…What is the process to return to Spiritual World? The easiest and most sublime process to awaken love for God is to chant his Holy Names.”

Cross Over the Line

Verse: Srimad Bhagavatham – 7.7.43
Where: Jul 17′th 2007, Poland.
Courtesy: Candrasekhar Acarya Das.
Essence: “We are in between the two – material enjoyment and spiritual enjoyment. But at some point in our Krishna Consciousness, we have to cross over the line..Enough is enough fully surrender to Krishna. We have to make that decision – no more sense gratification only Krishna Consciousness. It will come some stage in our life, where we have to cross over.”

Lord never tolerates…

Where: May 3’rd 2007, London.
Verse: Srimad Bhagavatham – 7.9.1
Courtesy: Bhavin Chitania.
Essence: “Krsna never tolerates offense to his devotee. For one who offends devotees, it is very difficult to please the Lord…Until we are pure devotees we have anarthas, we should be very careful in our dealings with devotees. A vaishnava is never to be harmed in anyway.”
